Edges

The cracks in the pavement, the liminal space between defined regions are where the interesting stuff happens.

I've often been on the edges, moving between various communities but often not fully a part of them, and the communities I've felt most powerfully a part of have in themselves been the places where fellow weirdos congregate.

Similarly I've been extremely interdisciplinary my whole life, often finding interesting connections between areas of study, fields or communities not usually tied together.

I've had a strong association since my teens with the Wolf (not the weird pseudoscientific "Alpha" crap strutting its way through pop culture), including a range of interesting synchronicities around Wolves.

Wolves are a fascinating combination of deeply social animals but ones that also go off on their own paths at times. This speaks to me.
