We have seen how centralized control slows response while local leaders move faster with fewer resources and less authority. In disaster systems, visibility, funding, and decision-making often concentrate at the top while grassroots groups carry the labor. We build tools that redistribute coordination power outward so communities are not waiting on permission to survive. We believe resilience is strongest when infrastructure supports the edges, not just the center.
